With Leeds United’s good season coming to a premature end as we failed in our promotion hopes at the Championship Play-Off Semi-Final hurdle, it’s all eyes to next season and not only the future of manager Marcelo Bielsa, but also the makeup of the first team squad and there’s significant speculation about a few players like Kalvin Phillips, Pontus Jansson and Kemar Roofe.
Everyone saw Jansson wearing his heart on his sleeve following the final whistle against Derby County once again and plenty expect him to be off this summer, but a recent message on his Instagram account doesn’t sound like a player who wants to jump ship – at least not to me.

It shouldn’t end like that. Still don’t understand it today how it all could end so quickly. We gave all every single day and deserved more but sometimes you don’t get what you deserve. I’m proud of my club, teammates and fans that we never gave up. Thanks for all support and all the efforts during the year ????❤️
The clear fan favourite has taken some stick but that’s hardly new in the world of punditry when it comes to the club, but for those that hope he will stick with us as we have a second bite of the cherry, his brother also had an interesting message when it came to his future.
Is he leaving? Tha is more than I am aware of.

Dust of the Spiderman meme for when he turns up to pre-season training again.
