Leeds have won their first piece of silverware of the season.
Well, sort of.
Whilst most of the attention during the international break was focused on the England senior team and their wins against Bulgaria and Kosovo over the past few days, the younger age groups were also enjoying their fair share of success. In particular, the U17s won the Syrenka Cup in Poland by virtue of a penalty shootout.
The story has a Leeds connection because young Nohan Kennah was part of said England team that came out triumphant. The young man burst onto the scene somewhat a couple of weeks ago with a stunning goal for the U18s in their win against Coventry City that certainly got a lot of fans talking. Let’s hope that this is just the start of a long association with the Three Lions, at least someone from Elland Road managed to earn a call-up.
Well his achievements for the national side certainly didn’t go unnoticed by the Leeds fans as they rushed to congratulate him.
Congratulations lads well done ???? MOT.

Hopefully this won’t be the only time someone from United lifts a trophy this season.
