With 11 starting appearances to his name for Leeds United, Academy graduate Conor Shaughnessy headed out again on deadline day for a loan spell with League Two side Mansfield Town.
In the second half of the 2018/19 campaign, the 23-year-old headed to Scotland for an 11 game spell with Hearts, and last weekend he made his full debut for the Stags in their 2-0 victory over Scunthorpe United.
It’s fair to say it was a good debut from him and he certainly impressed their fans with his efforts across the 90 minutes – so much so in fact, that they named him as their Man of the Match following the game as he picked up a whopping 45.1% of their fan vote.
MAN OF THE MATCH: A fine debut from @conor_shaughs means he's been voted as the supporters' man of the match from Saturday's win! 👏

Fingers crossed his debut will be an indication of the kind of loan spell he’s going to have out with them this season and then next summer decisions can be taken on how much he’s developed in recent times and whether or not he’s ready to fill a spot in our first team squad.
