It’s probably too early to start saying it’s ‘written in the stars’.
But there certainly is a sense that he’ll come back to bite Marcelo Bielsa on the backside when the two sides meet at Kenilworth Road today, at least there is among the supporters as they prepare to come face to face with Izzy Brown.
To call it a ‘reunion’ would be a little bit of a stretch seeing as he only made one appearance during his time at Elland Road, spending the majority of his time on the injury table and then failing to break into the squad during the latter stages of the campaign. Leeds have been given a great chance to see what they were missing last year, as he has racked up five assists already this league campaign.
And that’s led boss Bielsa to talk about just how unfortunate they were with his injuries, but that it was ‘a mistake’ of his not to play him more, saying that Luton are giving him an opportunity that he simply couldn’t.
And it sparked a little bit of a debate among the fanbase, with some working out whether or not the blame should be placed at Bielsa’s feet or at Brown’s.
Another mistake by MB.. played the same players too often and we all know what happenes, hopefully MB has learnt from that and its doesnt come back to bite us Saturday.

Talent aside I don’t think he has the mentality. We are too big a club for him, with too high an expectation. I don’t think he would have ever made it for Leeds. I believe Huddersfield/Luton is his level. Obviously, I hope this doesn’t come back to bite me. MOT!

No bielsa, not we, you! You could have gave him more game time, he could have settled in and been the player WE know he is. But your terrible team choices and tactics during games kept him out

I watched him a few times for U23s and was not overly impressed, clearly wasn’t match fit. It has to go down as a poor/wasted loan signing, he’d not played for so long and was a huge risk. Don’t think you can blame MB on this one

Whilst others were more concerned with the mater of hand, believing that it was some form of destiny for him to find the scoresheet.
He will have the game of his life won’t be first time he’s destroyed us . And when fans start chanting your not good enough to play for Leeds watch him destroy us again ????????????????????????

Would you have had Izzy Brown back this season?
Yes
No
Hopefully Bielsa won’t come to regret it anymore.
