In addition to Jamie Shackleton, Adam Forshaw is another injury doubt ahead of Leeds United’s trip to Luton Town. The 28-year-old is recovering from a hip injury, but Marcelo Bielsa said in a press conference that he may not be 100% in time to face the Hatters.
Forshaw has made eight appearances in all competitions this season, seven of which have come in the Championship. The midfielder’s last outing came against Charlton Athletic on September 28.
He’s been absent for Leeds’ last seven league games, missing their 1-0 win over West Bromwich Albion (October 1), 2-1 defeat to Millwall (October 5), 1-0 win over Birmingham City (October 19), 1-1 draw with Preston North End (October 22), 0-0 draw with Sheffield Wednesday (October 26), 2-0 win over Queens Park Rangers (November 2) and 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers (November 9).
The Englishman was a regular at the start of the season, playing every minute of every league game before September, but he’s racked up 45 minutes of football ever since.
Marcelo Bielsa has called upon Tyler Roberts in Forshaw’s absence, but it remains to be seen what starting eleven he’ll put out on Saturday.
