Agbonlahor: Leeds have “too much” for Forest

|

In a dramatic turn of events, Leeds United hater Gabby Agbonlahor backs Jesse Marsch’s men ahead of their crucial Premier League encounter tomorrow afternoon.

As per LeedsLive, the former Aston Villa forward and now TalkSport presenter has been speaking about the game down at the bottom of the Premier League table and he backs Leeds United to take the points when they travel to the City Ground on Sunday.

Agbonlahor said, “Leeds will have a bit too much for Nottingham Forest, they have got some exciting players Leeds, new striker, new signings in the window, Bamford is back scoring goals. So I’m going to go 2-0 to Leeds”

The outspoken radio pundit usually dismisses any chances of a Leeds victory, so this really is a bizarre vote of confidence from the ex-Premier League striker. One that will not only shock many Whites fans but will also be taken with a pinch of salt.

However, Jesse Marsch will be hoping his prediction comes true with his side failing to win more than 2 games in their last sixteen outings. A run that has seen his side languishing at the bottom, precariously above the drop zone on goal difference. Results on Saturday haven’t been the best for Leeds with Everton beating Arsenal, Wolves beating Liverpool and Leicester demolishing Aston Villa.

Leeds desperately need to start winning games of football. The six-pointer at Forest would be the perfect place to start with two tough games against Manchester United within four days coming next, before a trip to Everton and then the visit of bottom-of-the-league Southampton to Elland Road.
