5 Shots & 2 Key Passes Sees Leeds Man Prove His Worth Again As He Takes MotM

With the November international break now in the rearview, Leeds United were back in proper action and looking for all three points again Luton Town on Saturday as we made the trip to Kenilworth Road.

After a scoreless first half, in which we again dominated, we finally took advantage as Patrick Bamford found the net just ahead of the hour mark, and even though the hosts levelled the scores minutes later, an own goal went our way to return what was otherwise a justified three points.

Some will think we got lucky, others will think the winner took a long time coming, but in any event, statistics website Whoscored had us with a more rounded performance when it came to the player ratings, and they had Bamford down as our Man of the Match with a score of 8.07.

Completing the top five on the day were Luke Ayling (7.74), Pablo Hernandez (7.59), Mats Klich (7.37) and Ben White (7.28). Goalkeeper Kiko Casilla was the only other player to register a seven plus score.

Three points are three points though and that was the aim at the start of the day, and what we came back with.
