Coyle will now return to Elland Road and he will look to impress the Leeds management during pre-season.
The defender has made 23 appearances for Leeds since making his debut as a second-half substitute at Nottingham Forest in December 2015.
Coyle is one of seven players who have ended the season away from Elland Road on loan.
Marcus Antonsson (Blackburn Rovers) and Luke Murphy (Burton Albion) have also spent the entire season away from Leeds whilst Yosuke Ideguchi (Cultural Leonesa), Mateusz Klich (FC Utrecht), Mallik Wilks (Grimsby Town) and Liam Kitching (Harrogate Town) have spent the second half of the season on loan.
