Leeds Word On The Tweet

“Where we building the statue”, “Love it” – Many Leeds fans loved what key asset said

Leeds United captain Liam Cooper has delivered a message which the Elland Road faithful thoroughly enjoyed hearing.

The Whites are currently top of the Championship with nine games still to play and have a seven-point advantage over Fulham in third place, giving us a real chance of a return to the Premier League for the first time in 16 years.

Speaking via Leeds’ official Twitter account, the Scottish skipper emphasised how important our final set of games are, stating that our side need to remain psychologically and physically strong and get ourselves over the line to get the job done.

Can Cooper cut it in the Premier League?

Yes

No

Our campaign is about to restart against Cardiff City on 21st June, despite other clubs not too pleased about the restart date.

With this in mind, supporters were full of praise for Cooper’s comments and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan wondered where we are building his statue, while another thoroughly enjoyed his motivational speech.
