Aston Villa confirmed last night that Ross McCormack has once again gone to Australia to play his football there this season.
The striker fell out with Steve Bruce a long time ago now over the gates at his out apparently not opening and since his career has rather stalled.
A player of considerable talent, he was a decent player for us for sure, and it seems a real shame and a waste that he is now consigned to having to go to the A-league with all due respect.
Indeed, he’s got the talent to really produce the goods still at this level and though I don’t think we need him another Championship side should have got him in the summer.
Even so, that is where it is now and it’ll be interesting to see how he does down there.
I’d imagine he’ll tear it up in all honesty. He’s too good.
