Loads of Leeds United fans have been reacting on social media to a recent post by Mateusz Klich following Saturday’s defeat at Fulham.

Klich started the game for his 23rd inclusion in the opening line-up of one of Marcelo Bielsa’s Championship teamsheets for the term, but failed to prevent the Cottagers from ending our 11-game unbeaten run as they reduced the margin between the two sides to nine points.

The Whites fell behind early on in South West London with Aleksandar Mitrovic breaking the deadlock in the seventh minute from the spot, though there has been much uproar surrounding referee Tim Robinson’s decision to point to the spot after deeming Ben White to have fouled Bobby Reid inside the area.

Was it a penalty?

Yes

No

Reid went to ground under minimal contact from Brighton & Hove Albion loanee White, who had placed his hands on the striker’s back as he ran towards the corner flag.

Klich has appeared to join the hordes of frustrated fans, too, having shared a picture of singer-songwriter Stevie Wonder on his Instagram Stories feed, though the £2.25million-rated star followed the post up by sharing that he is simply a “big fan of Stevie” when his original post came into question.

Klich featured for the full 90 minutes at Fulham, and produced two shots, one key pass, two successful dribbles, two tackles, two interceptions, and won an aerial duel, per WhoScored data.

Here are some of the messages shared as fans reacted to Klich’s post…

In other Leeds United news, is has been claimed that the club’s pursuit of a free-scoring attacker has hit the rocks.
