Leeds manager Kevin Blackwell says he still believes he can catch Sheffield United and has no intention of settling for a play-off place.

The Whites currently lie third in the Championship table, 14 points behind second-placed Sheffield United and 21 behind leaders Reading.

Blackwell: ‘In any other league, right now we’d be top of the table. That tells you the freakish nature of Sheffield United and Reading’s performances.

‘I think if we get to 40 games gone and United are still 14 points clear then you have to accept the chance has gone – but there are 16 games to go.’
