Leeds United are close to securing a return to the Premier League, and with it the mounting speculation over mega-money moves for experienced top-flight talents.
Whites supporters on Twitter are currently coming to terms with one rumour, in particular, which is linking the Elland Road outfit with Newcastle United’s Jonjo Shelvey, who could be available for £20million.
The rumour was put in public view by fan account Leeds United Live, who claimed that there were reports placing United at the front of the queue for his signature if he has no future at St James’ Park.
Search online, though, and you will find it hard to locate any credible sources speculating our interest in the 6-cap former England international, who has actually been mentioned as a target for West Ham by The Sun and it is that report which states Newcastle’s apparent asking price.
And even if there were any credible reports linking the club with a move for Shelvey, these Leeds fans wouldn’t be too impressed…
He’s no way near Bielsas type of player,

20 Mill, no thank you – better players out there for that kind of money – Oh and he’s not worth anywhere near that – anyway lets worry about that if we get promoted – loads of football to be played yet – get behind this seasons team.

Sometimes, “It has been reported” means some random made it up and stuck it on twitter. Think this is probably the case here. Like some have said, good player on his day, but a liability on others.
