Leeds United have now confirmed the speculation earlier today that youngster Tom Pearce was set to head out to League One side Scunthorpe United, and we have also arranged a temporary loan spell out for fellow youngster Sam Dalby.

20-year-old defender Pearce heads to Glanford Park for the remainder of the 2018/19 campaign looking to hopefully get a significant whack of game time under his belt to bring on his development even further.

With five appearances for manager Marcelo Bielsa during the current campaign already, he should certainly be comfortable testing himself in the third tier of the English game as he continues stepping up.

Fellow youngster Dalby heads into League Two side Morecambe, also until next summer.

The striker has featured regularly for Carlos Corberan’s Under 23 side and his spell in the fourth tier should also be a good learning curve and experience for him as he continues his own development.

Having featured for former club Leyton Orient almost 20 times before he arrived at Elland Road, he should more than know what to expect.

I don’t think we’re finished for tonight either.
