Well, we’re nearly there and I can’t wait to be able to forget about this season for once and for all.
In truth, it’ll probably stick with us until the start of the campaign at least but we won’t have to dread every weekend coming around as we do right now.
Certainly, it’ll be a relief to forget about things for a few weeks whilst we, hopefully, sign some better players in the summer.
Meanwhile, though, Phil Hay has posted on Twitter asking fans for his player of the year and it is safe to say most of the responses were sarcastic…

@NoelDavidWhelan has done really well this year but my vote goes to Pablo Hernandez with BPF as the Young player of the year (quite a few to choose from) #lufc #mot

Tough decision… Iโll be shocked if Hernandez doesnโt win with 95% + of the votes.

Is there an option for โno commentโ?

The Verdict
For me, it’s a pretty easy decision because so many of our players have been below par this campaign.
My player of the season would be Pablo Hernandez because he has at least been professional and tried hard all year which is more than can be said for most.
Meanwhile, my young player of the year has to be BPF because of the work he’s done since he’s come in.
Who are your nominees? Let me know!
