Leeds United have been flying high in the Championship this season, establishing themselves amongst the favourites to earn promotion to the Premier League.
Four consecutive victories has seen the Peacocks open up a five-point advantage over third-placed Sheffield United heading into the busy festive season, providing Marcelo Bielsa’s side with a strong platform to build upon.
However, a concerning report has emerged which threatened to burst the bubble of the Yorkshire giants as it was claimed owner Andrea Radrizzani was going bankrupt – although this proved to be false, with the news instead being that his company was closing it’s UK division after just four months.
Many fans reacted with concern to the news though, suggesting it would be typical for something like this to occur at a time when Leeds are flying high, so they will be relieved to hear it should not create any problems.
