Leeds United extended their winning streak to four matches after beating QPR 2-1 at the weekend, a result that also saw the Peacocks open up a five-point lead over third-place Sheffield United.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side have established themselves amongst the leading contenders for promotion as they seek to earn a return to the Premier League for the first time since their relegation in 2004 and the signs so far have been positive.
After edging past QPR in a hard-fought match at Elland Road, where the visiting side took the lead before Kemar Roofe turned the game on its head by scoring a brace, the striker was named in the Football League Paper’s Team of the Day alongside teammate Adam Forshaw.
Forshaw has been vastly criticised at times by Leeds supporters this season but earned praise from his latest display, along with Roofe, on social media.
We have gathered some of the assessments from supporters below.
Forshaws best performance yet for us.

If Forshaw made this team, who ever is doing this team of the day is really looking into games and noticing a good performance. His statistics won’t stand out but his overall play was excellent

I thought he was brilliant. Many slated him this weekend. Him, Jansson an Shackleton stood out for me. Roofe has a good a game too
