If there’s one player you’d say has improved most under Marcelo Bielsa it is surely Mateusz Klich.
The Argentinian has been excellent this season at getting the best out of players that beforehand were struggling and perhaps nearing the exit door.
The likes of Kemar Roofe and Liam Cooper have also benefited massively but it is surely Klich who has been the best of the most-improved bunch.
He’s helping to control games with his passing range whilst, perhaps surprisingly, he’s proven to be a real goal-scoring midfielder.

He always looks capable of producing quality and that says a lot for a player who looked gone last season.
He’s scoring some fine goals at the moment and, arguably, he’s been our best player this year.
All we can hope, then, is that continues.
