Leeds United players were back in training yesterday as they prepare for a likely return to action next month.
Whilst no concrete date has been confirmed for when the Championship can return, positive steps are being taken to ensure the campaign can begin in June. As a result, players were allowed back to training yesterday, although they still had to adhere to strict rules, such as social distancing and training in smaller groups.
Nevertheless, it was a move towards returning to football and the club shared pictures of several first-team stars back at Thorp Arch, including influential midfielder Kalvin Phillips and forward Tyler Roberts.

Unsurprisingly, the support were delighted to see the duo, and their teammates back, as Leeds look to finish the job of winning promotion, with Marcelo Bielsa’s men currently seven points clear of third-placed Fulham in the race for a top two finish.
Will Leeds United be playing in the Premier League next season?
Yes

Here we look at some of the reaction from the support to the update on the players…
