“They have a personal relationship”: Former Leeds United man makes transfer prediction involving European giant

|

Danny Mills has backed Leeds United to take advantage of Andrea Radrizzani’s friendship with PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi when it comes to bringing in new players ahead of next season.

The Whites have been excellent in the Championship this season and they lead the way with just nine games to play. Therefore, the Premier League is in sight and Leeds are desperate to finish the season, although it has been claimed that they could win promotion without kicking another ball.

Either way, they will expect to be playing in the top-flight for the next campaign and if so, it promises to be a busy transfer window at Elland Road. It has already been suggested that Adil Aouchiche and Tanguy Kouassi could make temporary switches from the French capital to Yorkshire and Mills told Football Insider that it’s something that Leeds will definitely be looking at.

Will QSI takeover the club?

Yes

No

The Qatari group are very wealthy and Radrizzani knows the chairman very well and I think they have a personal relationship. If they get promoted I suspect they will get investment and there could be some loan players from PSG.”

There has been strong speculation over the past year or so that the Qatari billionaire could make a bid to buy Leeds United, or at least put fresh investment into the club to help the Whites moving forward. However, a full takeover seemed to be off the table when Radrizzani recently confirmed that he would move to the city permanently if they won promotion to the Premier League.

It remains to be seen what will happen to the Championship but the EFL have continuously made it clear they intend to play the remaining nine games if it’s possible.
