A number of Leeds United fans have been a credit to the club as they took to social media over the weekend to react to news that Eunan O’Kane had suffered a serious injury.
The 28-year-old’s form bottomed out for the club and he came in for heavy criticism for performances, but with new manager Marcelo Bielsa deciding that at least for this season, he wasn’t in his plans, he made the switch out to Luton Town for the remainder of the 2018/19 campaign.
In their game on Saturday against Bristol Rovers, the former Republic of Ireland international suffered a double leg fracture ruling him out for the rest of the campaign and a number of fans were quick to pass on their sympathies.
So sad and totally heartbreaking ???? Hope he manages to have a complete recovery, for him and his family. Stay strong @eunan10 please get well soon ????⚽ #MOT #LUFC xx

It will be a blow for the player as he was looking to use the loan spell to get himself back on track and play himself into some form and it appeared he was doing just that as he’s played four times for them this month, albeit substitute showing in League One, so he just has to look for the future now and keep focused on his return.
