Leeds United head into tonight’s clash against Preston North End with an unbeaten run in the Championship to protect.

Hosting Preston at Elland Road for the game, we are one point ahead of the chasing pack in the second tier with four wins and three draws from the opening seven matches and confidence is obviously high that we can pull another positive result out of the hat tonight – despite our issues with injury in attack.

On the back of the weekend’s late draw with Millwall, I don’t actually see Marcelo Bielsa making a single change for this one.

Peacock-Farrell,
Ayling, Jansson, Cooper, Douglas,
Phillips
Harrison, Saiz, Klich, Alioski,
Roberts.

Given his comments in the pre-match press conference, of more interest for me is the makeup of the substitutes bench, in terms of which youngsters may get minutes in the second period in a more friendly environment compared to Millwall.

Forshaw, Dallas, Pearce, Blackman, Baker, Edmondson and Clarke took the spots at The Den and I’m pretty convinced it’ll be the same bunch again given other injuries we have to contend with, and if the result is going our way I fail to see one, if not all three of the younger lads wouldn’t get a late cameo to give them a taste and encourage their development further.
