Leeds United bolstered their position in the automatic promotion spots of the Championship after a 2-1 victory against QPR at Elland Road on Saturday.
The Peacocks fell behind to Nahki Wells’ first-half effort but a brace from Kemar Roofe ensured all three points would remain in Yorkshire, helping Leeds open up a five-point lead over third-place Sheffield United.
Roofe’s second of the game came from the penalty spot eight minutes after the restart and one eagle-eyed supporter spotted something interesting after the goal which showed QPR forward Wells congratulate Roofe for his effort.
This led to a variety of responses from Leeds fans on social media, many of whom stated they would be keen on seeing Wells, who has scored four goals and contributed two assists in 17 league appearances this season, link up with Roofe at Elland Road.
We have gathered some of their comments below.
