I think it could be time to take some risks with the team selection so, Paul Heckingbottom, please pay attention if you stumble across this piece.

Last time out really was a deflating result.

Perhaps it was because we spent so long during the week waiting to see the match go ahead, the excitement ahead of it was larger than usual.

And, with that said, it meant the disappointment of what came to pass was greater than some of the other results we`ve had recently.

Further, the Whites, after the loss, now look realistically out of the top six race and it`s only Hecky saying that we`re not that`s probably keeping the players from thinking about their holidays.

Words will only keep them on their toes so much, though, and so I think it`s time the former Barnsley gaffer rolls the dice and really starts getting them thinking.

When he was with the Tykes, he had a good reputation for building a side around young players and, though that`s more of a risk here given our bigger size, we`ve not got much to lose in trying a few things this season now.

Tomorrow`s game against Wolves certainly would be a baptism of fire for some of the youngsters but there`s one man I`d like to see given a chance – Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

Clearly, Felix Wiedwald is yet to really prove why we signed him and, actually, I wouldn`t be surprised to see him leave in the summer.

That is a different argument to be had, though, and in the meantime I`d play our young goalkeeper to see what he can do.

It`s absolutely a risk and could back-fire but now is probably the best chance to give him first team football without that much pressure on him.

Let`s give him a go.

Agree with me? Should BPF come into the team? Let me know!
