“He will cost us promotion” – A lot of Leeds fans seem to be losing faith in Marcelo Bielsa after a rather disappointing 1-1 draw with Preston North End.
However, what really annoyed many Whites fans was how late Bielsa’s substitutions were.
Preston took the lead in the 74th minute through Tom Barkhuizen, but the Argentine waited until the 77th minute to make his first change.
This means that Bielsa was reactionary rather than being proactive, and Leeds had to chase the game.
Luckily, it was one of his substitutes Eddie Nketiah who rescued a point for the Whites in the 87th minute.
Leeds dominated against Preston but could not find a way through, and it took Alex Neil’s side to go in front before Bielsa used his bench.
This has massively frustrated a lot of Leeds supporters who feel the changes had to be made earlier.
