Leeds United have been linked with a number of players this summer but Phil Hay seems adamant that one man that won’t be coming in is Marcus Maddison.
The Peterborough United winger has been heavily linked with our club and plenty of sources have suggested that we are interested in him.
However, Phil Hay has moved repeatedly to say that he cannot see it happening and that he doesn’t really understand the link.
Indeed, after another fan asked him about the situation, he once again looked to play things down in pretty blunt fashion:
if Leeds sign this lad then shoot me by all means but seriously, I can't believe how much has been written about this.

Clearly, this is a strange story with plenty still peddling it and others, like Hay, befuddled by it.
Hay usually knows his stuff, though, so it seems fair to think that, maybe, he could be on to something here.
What happens in the final two weeks of the window is anyone’s guess, though, and I am sure more rumours are going to come about in that period.
