Leeds United are still in the mix for Matej Vydra this summer as per Sun journalist Alan Nixon on Twitter.
The Whites have been linked with a number of players so far this window but we’re yet to see the club manage to get anyone over the line.
With Marcelo Bielsa at the club now, though, we might start seeing movement and it appears there’s still interest in the striker though Nixon says that us and Derby are apart on valuation of the player.
The Verdict
It’s good we’re still in for the attacker but I do wonder how we’re going to make Derby budge on their valuation.
He’s their best player, they obviously want to keep him, and so they’ll hold out for as much as possible.
Let’s see if we can grease the wheels in the coming weeks, then, before more sides get interested in the player’s signature.
