The focus turns to this weekend and, I’ll tell you what, if we can’t win this fixture against Sunderland we might as well pack up and go home for the rest of the campaign.

It’s been a shocking season anyway but if we can’t beat one of the worst sides around right now we’re really going to need an inquest.

The Verdict

Ekuban is a likeable enough lad and he seems to try and have a smile on his face but, honestly, I don’t think he is good enough for our club.

He misses chance after chance and, more often than not, they are opportunities most strikers at this level would score with ease.

I think he’ll go in the summer.
