Marcelo Bielsa was presented to the media today as manager of Leeds United for the very first time.
Certainly, I am still having to pinch myself that writing the sentence is factually accurate and the pictures to have come out of the event are certainly scarcely believable.
He is at the club now, though, and it looks as though transfers are on his mind – though perhaps not as many as we’d have liked.
Indeed, as quoted by Phil Hay, Bielsa said:
Bielsa on transfers: "For the moment we're not intending to bring too many new faces in. From my point of view the club have got plenty of players I feel should remain here, who we should keep." #lufc

The Verdict
I hang on the fact that he said for the moment and not for the whole window.
Perhaps he is going to get rid of a load of players before making any signings or, indeed, he’s just going to keep things at a minimum.
Whatever he does, though, we have to hope that he is going to get it right and live up to the massive hype that has already preceded him.
