Alan Sheehan became the third arrival on Thursday, and the second from Leicester.

Gary McAllister has already raided form former club Leicester to sign Darren Kenton on a permanent basis, and his second visit to his old stomping ground (although it was not the Walkers at that time) saw him snap up 21 year old defender Alan Sheehan on loan until the end of the season.

McAllister was happy with the signing, and sees him as extra competition for places, he told leedsunited.com: “I’ve seen Alan play quite a few times.

“We have Ben Parker at left-back, but this will give us more competition in a vital area.”

Sheehan has come through the ranks at Leicester and has won caps at under 19 and under 21 level for Ireland.
