Leeds’ deadline day dealings were concluded when Anthony Elding arrived from Stockport.

Elding was given permission to speak to Leeds after Stockport accepted an undisclosed amount for the prolific marksman, and he completed his move to Elland Road on Thursday night, signing a two and a half year contract.

He averages a goal every other game, and could boast a record of 26 goals in 52 matches for Stockport, which is more than impressive. He had also been prolific with Boston and Stevenage. Elding comes from a family of Leeds fans so should feel right at home, and this would be a dream come true for them.

Elding became the fourth and final signing on Thursday, following Lubo Michalik, Darren Kenton and Alan Sheehan (loan) in signing for the club.
