“Save That Tweet As A Draft” – These Leeds Fans React To Latest Fixture Change

|

With the big 2019/20 Championship campaign nearing, it means the inevitable return to numerous and almost endless fixture changes that more often than not, just completely inconvenience fans and although our Cardiff City clash hasn’t yet been moved for the television cameras, Leeds United fans found out about the switch yesterday.

The game had originally been set for Saturday March 14, 2020, but on the advice of Police, it’s now been moved back 24 hours and will take place at 1pm on Sunday March 15, 2020. Now this does give plenty of fans time to plan the trip to the Cardiff City Stadium, but with the Official Site also confirming that it could still move again if selected for the cameras, that element of it didn’t go down well with fans on social media.

Sadly, given how the broadcasters like Leeds and the viewing figures we pull in, we can again expect to feature very highly in the live games even if the financial reward is hardly fair for the associated disruption.
