Down to the bare bones?
That could very well be the case for Leeds United this weekend according to Phil Hay. The club confirmed last night that central defenders Liam Cooper and Diego Llorente both picked up injuries on international duty and have since returned to Thorp Arch.
The Spaniard is set to be out for around three weeks, whilst Cooper’s is a little less severe and could be available for Monday’s game against Wolves if the club decide to run a late fitness test. It’s a scenario that is set to leave Leeds United short of numbers, with Hay summing up the situation thusly:
both players due back in Leeds for assessment. Sounds like muscular injuries in both cases but the club still to establish the severity.

Who would you play at CB v Wolves?
Kevin Phillips
Pascal Struijk
Someone else
It could be a case of tweaking the team a little bit, like putting Kalvin Phillips in at centre-back, a position he has played before, or a straight swap and bringing in someone like Pascal Struijk up from the bench to take the place alongside Robert Koch at the heart of the defence.
But when playing against a top side like Wolves, you need to be at your 100% best, so it should be interesting to see what Marcelo Bielsa does in this situation.
What about you? Who would you play at centre-back against Wolves?
