According to Phil Hay, Leeds will have to pay £10m if we want to sign Matej Vydra this summer from Derby County.
The Rams forward shone again last season as he underlined his Championship quality with a glut of goals despite former manager Gary Rowett not always seeming to fancy him.
With them not getting promoted, though, they need to perhaps cut back the spending and raise funds another way with Vydra their top asset.
If we’re to sign him, though, it’s going to cost into an eight-figure sum according to Hay, who was responding to a question from a fan:

The Verdict
I’d probably not want the club to pay this to be honest.
He’s a good player and gets goals at this level, make no mistake, but he’s not worth that.
Certainly, I think we can find as good an option for half of that so let’s see what happens in the coming weeks.
