Leeds have been handed a boost in the chase for German-based striker Marvin Ducksch.

The striker hit 18 goals in 2.Bundesliga last season and though that isn’t the highest level of football over there it is still a more than respectable record.

According to the Pink’un, too, a move could still be on for him with us and Norwich reportedly keen on the forward.

The Yorkshire Post has suggested that we’re interested whilst this report from the Pink’Un says that his fallen through deal with Fortuna Dusseldorf means he’s available for a move still.

The Verdict

Obviously, if we want him to come in and sign this is a bonus for us as it looks as though his move to Dusseldorf won’t be happening.

Personally, though, I don’t want to see us take a punt on this guy. He’s got a decent record but we need proven players and that’s what I want to see this summer.
