Leeds lost out to Sheffield United earlier this afternoon in a game that was far from ideal in the title race.
Of course, we are only a point off of the top two spots despite the loss and there is no reason to panic but it would have been nice to actually earn the win and open things up.
That’s not how this club goes, though, despite doing more than enough to win the game with some of the chances we had.
There were no shots on target, though, and plenty have looked at Patrick Bamford and whether he really did enough.
He has some quality, but he cannot seem to finish and that was not lost on many onlookers who took to Twitter to criticise him.
Let’s take a look at a collection of tweets about the forward’s performance…

Slow out the back, predictable and full of errors. Oh, and Bamford is lazy. Can’t understand how we can do a Derby and West Brom, or a Norwich and Sheff U. Still some way to go, but that performance will hurt us. #lufc #notoveryet

Every time I've watched Bamford, I've prayed that for all his shortcomings in general play (of which he has many), that he'd stick the chances when they come. But it's just not true.
At this point, I'd play Roberts as a forward ahead of him. #LUFC

Not a good showing, and the sooner Kemar Roofe is back the better you feel.
