Loads of Leeds United supporters have been reacting on social media to the latest injury report ahead of Saturday’s trip to Middlesbrough.
The news broke during Marcelo Bielsa’s pre-match press conference, where it was revealed that three players are a doubt for inclusion this weekend.
A further player could be forced into a bit-time role at the Riverside Stadium, which means Bielsa will have four fewer options to consider for his starting XI.
Adam Forshaw and Mateusz Klich are both doubts with knee injuries for Saturday’s game, while a groin issue could restrict Pablo Hernandez’s involvement – the Spaniard was substituted off at half time against Norwich.
Patrick Bamford also confirmed that he is not yet match fit, which should suggest Kemar Roofe retains his starting spot despite only scoring once in his past six outings.
Kalvin Phillips and Jamie Shackleton, who have featured in 27 and 14 Championship ties respectively this season, are both in line to start in Forshaw and Klich’s places, however.
With four first-team players possibly out, Leeds fans have naturally been expressed their concerns on Twitter…
Forshaw that’s a result

Penny pinching in the transfer window leaves us vulnerable and these injuries highlight even more.

I’d like to see Shackleton I’m his natural position. For the U23s every time I’ve seen him play there he’s been the best player on the pitch.

Don’t mind the youngsters coming in, but forshaw is tragic. I’d sell him in the next window. Useless

The curse continues. If we go up… build a Bielsa statue and name a stand after him… ????
