Ben Parker has left Leeds United for Darlington on an initial one-month loan today.

The left-back managed 5 successive starts prior to the appointment of new manager Gary McAllister, however since then has lost his starting position to Alan Sheehan who is at the club on loan from Leicester City.

Parker now moves to the League Two side with the hope of gaining valuable first team experience, and the loan is likely to be linked with the arrival of Aston Villa’s Stephen O’Halloran who has joined United on a similar-length deal.
