Leeds United striker Tresor Kandol believes that Gary McAllister will become a League One success story, despite the poor start to his time at the club as manager.

The former Leeds United captain is still looking for his first victory as Leeds have gone without a win since January.

Kandol himself has been on a bit of a quiet streak, his late equaliser against Crewe Alex his first goal in 18 competitive matches. The former Barnet striker feels that victory, and a run of good results is just around the corner. Speaking to BBC Radio Leeds Kandol said:

“You have to work on it slowly and day by day you get to learn a lot from what the manager is asking from you.

“I think fans can see that since Gary has been here that things are changing slowly.”

“A win is what we want and we’re just waiting to get that – it’ll be soon.”
