The Whites take on Aston Villa this weekend in what is a massive game for us and, indeed, them.
Of course, it could be academic if Sheffield United beat Ipswich – which they surely will – but we at least need to beat Villa in order to try and take some momentum into our likely play-off campaign.
Away from the pitch, though, transfer rumours are kicking on and, according to Football Insider, we have made an enquiry for Forest Green midfielder Reece Brown.
Brown has had a wonderful campaign for the Nailsworth side and looks ready to step up from the fourth tier, so he could be a risk worth taking.
Yes, he’s not played much at this level at all to be frank but it is clear he is a good young player and he clearly fits the bill when it comes to what Victor Orta is trying to do.
Orta has made a real effort to bring in the best young talent from around the country where possible and, in signing Brown, this would be another nod to that.
