On this day in 2010, Leeds kept up their push for promotion from League One with a 4-1 win over Milton Keynes Dons. The Dons finished the game with eight men after having three players sent off by young referee Michael Oliver.
MK Dons had Matthias Doumbe sent off just before half time and he was followed by David McCracken and Peter Leven in the final ten minutes of the game.
It was a crucial win for Leeds in their penultimate home game of the League One season as goals from substitute Jermaine Beckford (2), Luciano Becchio and Max Gradel kept Leeds in the automatic promotion places with just two games remaining of the season.
