Sun journalist Alan Nixon has said that we remain keen on Lewis Grabban this summer but that Nottingham Forest might try harder for him.
The striker hit a load of goals last season for both Sunderland and Aston Villa as the latter got to the play-off final.
Certainly, we’d like to think we’re heading for the top six if we get the likes of Grabban in but Forest are also ambitious and they apparently seem willing to try and beat us to his signature.
Both clubs have big pull, of course, but surely working for Marcelo Bielsa is better than what they’ve got.
The Verdict
I’d love Grabban to sign but this is a story of concern in all honesty.
Forest clearly have money and seem willing to try and gazump any challengers.
I’d love Radrizzani to roll his sleeves up and strike back, though, as getting him would be massive.
