With so many positives to take from Tuesday evening’s victory over Preston North End in the midweek Championship clash, it’s difficult to not give this Leeds United man his spotlight following his individual showing.
Goals from Liam Cooper and a Tyler Roberts brace gave us a 3-0 victory to lift us three points clear at the top of the Championship table and with our only defeat this year having come against Preston in the EFL Cup, the element of revenge was the cherry on top.
Spaniard Samu Saiz has created plenty of headlines so far with his performances since the arrival of manager Marcelo Bielsa and he’s played a huge role in our unbeaten start to league life this season, and he was again impressive in midweek even if he didn’t help himself to a goal or an assist.
No finer midfield player in the Championship than Saiz.#Baller #Fact #LUFC

Klich, also been brilliant. Should have had two goals, didn't score, I'd still give him an 8 out of 10.

Absolutely outstanding tonight. So were many others. 2 CBS, Kalvin, Klich and Harrison. Roberts looked very lively as well and will get sharper.

Often flatters to deceive, tonight he’s been more purposeful, much less wasteful, and his work rate deserves the highest praise

It's the same thing with Messi where he's so consistently fantastic and does things that 'wow' us, that when he has an 8 out of 10 game, we barely even celebrate it.
He's just that good that we expect 'fantastic' every week. #lufc

He may have played a more subtle role in the game, but it was equally as impressive and important as the above social media comments show and with the chances that fell his way it wouldn’t have taken much for him to feature in the headlines either.
