Following the controversial decision to not give a penalty for a pulled shirt and trip on Crysencio Summerville during Brentford vs Leeds United, American coach Jesse Marsch was sent off for protesting by referee Robert Jones.
Today, per Sky Sports News, he has been charged by the Football Association for ‘improper language and/or behaviour’.

Marsch received support from pundits and fans alike on social media, with many suggesting that managers should be able to hold referees to account.
Garth Crooks on penalty incident on Summerville, and red for Marsch:
"As for the decision by referee Robert Jones not to give Leeds a penalty for the tackle on Summerville seemed absurd. Hardly surprising Leeds manager Marsch completely lost it."#lufc #mot #alaw ⚪️🟡🔵
