Leeds United returned to the summit of the Championship with a victory over Bolton at the weekend and it has left the Peacocks in a very positive position.
Marcelo Bielsa has led the side valiantly this season but he faces a difficult selection decision after a tough week, which saw Samuel Saiz sent to Getafe and Izzy Brown suffered a setback in his recovery from injury – leaving questions about the number 10 role at the club.
While Leeds have a number of candidates, it is not obvious who Bielsa will call upon for this weekend’s tough test against fellow promotion chasers Aston Villa and the subsequent fixtures that lie ahead during a busy festive period.
Respected journalist Phil Hay launched a discussion on social media and it earned a variety of responses from supporters on social media, so we have gathered a selection of their comments below.

Pablo’s delivery from wide areas is second to none in this league. That’s where he’s most effective. Currently Klich would be the best solution ‘in the hole’ as it were. Halme partnering Pontus frees Kalvin into his best position to partner Forshaw at the base of our midfield.

Pablo, or Clarke and/or alioski and/or Harrison on flank and/or make them interchangeable. Or……let Bielsa do what he wants, he could play Anyone in the 10 role and he’d make it work.

Drop roofe into 10 and start bamford surely an option?

Just highlights even more, the need for a bigger better squad.
Brown is too much of a gamble to say he can be Saiz’ replacement. He’s hardly kicked a ball in a year. We need someone fit, that can slot right in ASAP

Shackleton would be a great option at 10 (in his more natural position) as soon as Ayling is back to free him up

Pablo to 10 and Clarke out wide, we have options now and even more options coming back to full fitness. Marcelo knows

Victor Orta was once able to convince Gaston Ramirez to come to the Championship. If he does that again Leeds will go up. The best player I saw in a Boro shirt for a long time.
