Leeds United stormed to the top of the Championship at the weekend after overcoming Bolton to extend their winning streak to five matches in a row.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side stand in an extremely good position in their hunt to seal promotion to the Premier League but there is still work to be done in the January transfer window, where signing a new goalkeeper is likely to be a priority.
Jamal Blackman’s injury and subsequent premature return to Chelsea has left only Bailey Peacock-Farrell fighting for a regular spot between the sticks, with further depth required to strengthen the side for the challenges that lie ahead.
The latest reports state that Newcastle United’s Karl Darlow has emerged as a target for the Peacocks, with the Premier League stopper having fallen down the club’s pecking order following the capture of Martin Dubravka in the summer.
However, despite his experience, the opinion of Leeds supporters on the matter is split. We have gathered some of their reactions below.
I’d rather see Leeds sign Tom Heaton

Christ he’s awful

Not sure I can see him coming to Championship as No2 on a loan deal from a No2 position in the PL. surely Westwood from Wednesday would be more likely

Quality signing that!

U wouldn’t want to read all the nasty comments some Leeds fans love to shoot players before they have even come & played for us. Personally I think this is the perfect keeper choice as we are only looking for a back up for BPF anyway & hed be good for Championship level I believe
