Leeds United boss Simon Grayson as all but ruled out Patrick Kisnorbo for the season.

The Australian international hasn`t played since suffering an Achilles injury against Millwall in March last year.

In an interview, the Leeds boss said, “Paddy is doing his rehab, which includes a bit of running, but at the back of our minds we have ruled him out for the rest of the season.
“If he does play any football before the season`s end it will be a bonus for us. He has been out for so long that little complications can develop along the way. He has made a good recovery so far and the next stage is to get him stepping back on grass.”

The popular defender made 35 appearances for Leeds last season to help Leeds to promotion and he picked up a number of accolades including Player of the season.

Kisnorbo is in the final year of his two-year contract since signing from Leicester City in the summer of 2009.
