Leeds United boss Simon Grayson is still hoping to add to his squad before the loan transfer window closes later this month.

Grayson brought in Barry Bannan from Aston Villa earlier this week for the remainder of the season but the Leeds boss is still keen to bolster his squad for their final promotion push for the remaining ten games of the season.

The Leeds boss currently has the luxury of picking from an almost fully fit squad with only long-term absentee Patrick Kisnorbo still on the sidelines, but wants to keep the players on their toes by still adding to the squad.

In an interview, Grayson said, “We need competition for places. We have Bradley Johnson and Paul Connolly one booking away from a two-match ban and when the window shuts we can`t bring anyone else in. We have to make sure we have enough players to give us the best possible chance.
“I would like to think we will have a top-heavy squad to ensure we are covered for all eventualities.”

It is reported that Grayson is also hoping to extend the loan of Eric Lichaj whose loan comes to an end after today`s game with Ipswich Town.

The defender has impressed since joining from Aston Villa last month, making six appearances.
