Premier League referee Lee Probert will be the man in charge of the game between Brighton and Hove Albion and Leeds United on Friday night.

The Gloucestershire official will be taking charge of his sixth game of the season.

In his previous 5, he has shown 15 yellow cards (3 per game) and he is yet to show a red card.

Last season he took charge of 34 games, showing 88 yellow cards (2.58 per game) and 6 reds (1 every 5.66 games).

His last game in charge of Leeds was last season in the home game with Doncaster Rovers when Leeds ran out 5-2 winners.

Probert famously sent off Tresor Kandol for Leeds just twenty seconds after the striker had entered the pitch in the game against Norwich City at Carrow Road in 2010.

This will be the first time he has taken charge of Brighton since the 2005/06 season when they were defeated 1-0 at home by Coventry City in the FA Cup.

Referee: Lee Probert (Gloucestershire)
Assistants: Simon Long & Adam Watts
Fourth official: Keith Stroud
