Leeds United`s newest recruit Ross McCormack described the weekend win at Watford as the perfect end to a long week and is already looking forward to his first home game in front of the Leeds faithful.
McCormack signed from Cardiff City on Friday and came off the bench on Saturday to help Leeds claim their first away win of the season.
The Scottish international was just happy to be involved after a long week of talks at the club, speaking on the official website, McCormack said, “It`s just good to be involved. It`s been a long week with negotiations and what have you, and it was just good to be involved.”
McCormack admitted that he couldn`t wait to play at Elland Road having never played there before and only ever seen a game there on TV, “I`ve seen it on TV, and the fans look crazy so I can`t wait to play there,” he continued.
The striker as so far only been used as a substitute this season at Cardiff City and is now looking forward to two weeks of hard training and improving his fitness before Leeds next league fixture against his former clubs biggest rivals, Swansea City.
